Length of workshop: 9.45am-3pm, with 45 minute lunch

Pupils will work in teams of four, competing against teams from other schools. Maximum 20 pupils (five teams) from each school at each Challenge Day. You can also attend our Get Energised CPD sessions.
At the National Museum of Scotland, you can also visit our new Art, Design, Fashion, Science and Technology galleries during the day. Download our guidelines to find out more.
There will be one winning team per challenge and these teams will be presented with a prize at the end of the day.
9.45am – Arrival at Museum
10am – Sit in pre-arranged groups in Auditorium/lecture area
10.15am – Introduction to the day
10.45am – Challenges part 1
12-12.45pm – Lunch
1pm – Challenges part 2
2.15pm – Networking session with experts and pupils
2.45pm – Winning teams announced and prize giving
3pm – Finish

Do you work in the renewable energy industry? National Museums Scotland are looking for people working within the industry to get involved in their schools programme. People working in the industry are on a Steering Group to assist with programme development, take part in school events as judges, assist with delivery of sessions and take part in training events with teachers and museum staff.
