Strategy
Our strategic plan sets out what we will do to achieve our mission and vision.
Our current strategic plan covers the period 2022-2027. It describes our aims and priorities for this period, and includes details of the resources required to achieve them.
It is supported by other strategies and plans which bring focus to specific areas of statutory responsibility such as sustainability and Gaelic Language, and other high-level corporate commitments.

National Strategy
National Museums Scotland launched its first national strategy in 2006 and since then our work across the country has gone from strength to strength.
Gaelic Language Plan
Our Gaelic Language Plan supports our commitment to the aspirations and objectives included in the National Gaelic Language Plan and the Gaelic Language (Scotland) Act 2005.
Sustainability
We are committed to addressing the climate and biodiversity challenges, taking action across our whole organisation: our people, programmes, places and processes.
