Alice Balfour collected moths in East Lothian in the late 19th and early 20th century. She found many of her specimens in the same area as the National Museum of Flight. In this film, National Museums Scotland volunteer Katty Baird and curator of entomology Ashleigh Whiffin explore what we can learn from Alice Balfour's collection. They also share their perspectives on what it's like for women working in entomology today.
