Accessibility and facilities

We want everyone who comes to our museums to enjoy their time with us and make the most of their visit.

Parking

There are disabled parking spaces at the main museum building, and a limited number of disabled parking spaces at the farm. If you require a disabled parking space at the farm please speak to staff when you arrive in the Museum building.

Getting to the farm

During events we do not run our tractor trailer up to the farm.

The farm is approximately half a mile from the main museum building. There is a wide but roughly-surfaced path through our fields up to the farm. The path is relatively steep in places. Seating is provided at regular intervals.

Toilets

Toilets are available in the museum building and on the farm. This includes baby changing facilities and an adult changing bench.

Wheelchair access

The ground floor, but not the first floor, of the 1950s farmhouse is accessible by wheelchair.

Assistance dogs

Guide dogs, hearing dogs and other recognised assistance dogs are admitted.
