About Member Event: Annual Director's Lecture: Beyond Our Walls

Join Director, Dr Chris Breward for this special Members’ evening event and learn more about how the work of National Museums Scotland reaches beyond the museum’s walls.

Chris will be joined on the night by Dr John Giblin, Keeper of Global Arts, Cultures and Design, and Ailsa Macfarlane, Head of National & International Partnerships.

Our speakers will discuss how National Museums Scotland works with partner museums and organisations in Scotland and around the world to exchange and expand our knowledge and expertise, strengthening relationships and sharing our collections with the widest possible audience.

On the day

Entry to this event is via the Lothian Street entrance from 18:00, not the Main Entrance on Chambers Street.
Tickets for this in-person event are limited. The event will also be recorded for Members to watch online at a later date.
