Head-dress or Tyi Wara of wood carved in the form of a stylized antelope, worn attached to a basketry cap in dances to honour Tyi Wara, the half man, half antelope who taught the ancestors of the Bamana to farm: Africa, West Africa, Mali, Bamana people, early 20th century
