Loose, collarless jacket with a V-neckline created by the right side overlapping the left at the front when closed; right front edged with a band of cross-hatched quilting which is also used along the bottom of the jacket and on the sleeves; screen-printed Persian calligraphy in black nastaliq against gold background; machine embroidery in gold on black fabric and with sequins referencing embroidery style of golabtun duzi; inscription on left sleeve is from a poem by Hafez, whilst the other inscriptions are from a long narrative poem by Ferdowsi; label in neck (for both see Inscriptions|Markings)
