With the generous support of the family of Ann Paludan. Art historian Ann Paludan pioneered the study of sculptures in China and identified a distinctive Chinese sculptural tradition. Consisting of over 10,000 slides and prints, created over a period of significant change in China between the 1970s and early 2000s, the Ann Paludan Photographic Archive represents three decades of research on the subject and more than 200 site visits in China.
