Book your tickets for the National Museum of Flight.
Tickets are required to enter the National Museum of Flight. You can book in advance online or pay on arrival. All visitors must check in upon arrival.
We recommend booking a timed entry ticket online before your visit. Once you have booked you will be sent an email with your electronic tickets – please bring these with you when you visit.

*Advance ticket prices are applicable up to 23:59 the day before.
**Valid ID required. Carers of disabled people free.
†15% off when you buy up to three Child (5–15) tickets alongside up to any two Adult, Over 65s, Student, Young Scot, Disabled, Unemployed tickets, with a maximum of five tickets in total. Cannot be used in conjunction with National Museums Scotland Member tickets or any other discount or promotional offer.
Timed entry
Tickets can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance.
Timed entry is in hourly blocks with last entry at 16:00 in summer months (Apr – Oct) and 15:00 in winter months (Nov – Mar).
Booking capacity
You are able to book up to ten tickets in one transaction. Please also make sure you have booked a ticket for every member of your group, including children under five years of age. All members of your party must arrive at the same time to be granted entry.
Arriving at the museum
When you arrive at the museum you must present your pre-booked timed entry ticket (either printed or on a smartphone) or provide your order number. You will be checked in by our staff before you can start your visit.
If you have not pre-booked your tickets, you can purchase tickets on arrival at the museum. You will be checked in by our staff before you can start your visit.
After checking in, you are welcome to stay in the museum for as long as you like until closing time.
Refund policy
National Museums Scotland have a non-refundable and non-transferable ticketing policy. Customers will only be provided with a refund if the event or activity has been cancelled by the museum, or museum closure has taken place due to circumstances outwith our control.
