The partnership project Reveal and Connect: African and Caribbean Collections in Scottish Museums undertook a national review of African and Caribbean Collections in Scottish museums.

Funded by Museums Galleries Scotland, the project was led by National Museums Scotland; Glasgow Life Museums; The Hunterian, University of Glasgow; and University of Aberdeen Collections. The project Steering Group included representatives from museums in Africa and the Caribbean and diaspora organisations in Scotland.

Created in partnership with 32 museum organisations, the review highlights some of the objects and stories in African and Caribbean collections across Scotland. Together, we are working to establish a collaborative network to encourage access to, engagement with, and better understanding of these collections.
