Find out how to evaluate the impact of your projects using our Social Impact Toolkit resource pack.

This toolkit was created in partnership with museums across Scotland to explore ways to measure and articulate the social impact of engagement with autistic children, their families and young people.

While the toolkit references the Museum Association’s Measuring Social Impact Toolkit and the Scottish Government’s National Performance Framework, it has undergone further development through active testing by National Museums Scotland and our partners to be used with a broader range of audiences.

The framework is built on three core outcomes:

  • Enriching learning experiences
  • Cultural citizenship
  • Improvements in the health and wellbeing of audiences as a result of experiences at your museum

It could help you to assess the impact of your programme on adults, children or young people, and provide you with advice on methodologies, evaluation planning, data and information capture, plus suggestions for further reading.

Please let us have your feedback on using the toolkit and any suggestions you have for how it could be improved.
