Angela Robb
Specific responsibility: Curation of invertebrate and vertebrate collections preserved in fluid.
Research interests/expertise: Care of fluid-preserved zoological collections.
Angela studied zoology at Glasgow University and spent several years working in scientific publishing as a production editor and copy editor. In 2021 she returned to the University to complete a master's degree in museum studies, including a dissertation examining approaches to exhibiting evolutionary biology in museum galleries.
She joined National Museums Scotland in 2023 as an assistant curator with responsibility for the wet collections (invertebrates and vertebrates preserved in fluid, mostly alcohol). Her interests include general animal biology and the evolutionary history of life, as well as museum interpretation, engagement and storytelling.
