About Ancient Egypt: Mummification and the Afterlife
Mummification held great significance for ancient Egyptians, as they believed it was essential for entering the afterlife.
What will my pupils do in the session?
In this session, pupils will:
- Explore various objects used in the mummification process
- Discover items ancient Egyptians might have brought to the afterlife
- Participate in engaging, interactive activities
- Ask questions to deepen their understanding
- View authentic ancient Egyptian artefacts
