About Game On study day

Discover the exciting world of gaming in Scotland at this unique event. 

Meet industry and academic experts, learn all about game design, experience the Game On exhibition, and network with enthusiasts for valuable insights. 

What will my pupils do?

This exciting study day will give pupils the chance to explore the various themes around game design and gain valuable insight into the differing career pathways in gaming and beyond.  

Pupils will: 

  • Attend auditorium presentations and Q&A with industry experts and academics 
  • Enjoy free priority access to the Game On exhibition 
  • Participate in a mixer event with presenters for networking 

This event is presented in partnership with Maths Week Scotland.

Cancellation Policy
  • National Museums Scotland reserve the right to charge a fee for short notice cancellations or no-shows.
  • Bookings cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the visit will incur an administration fee of £25.
  • A charge of £50 will apply to no-show or last-minute cancellations.
  • In certain circumstances National Museums Scotland may waive the administration fee.
  • Cancellations should be notified in writing to schools@nms.ac.uk.
